How Do We Save Time?

Time is something we cannot master. We can monitor it and measure it, but we are helpless and cannot stop it. We can watch it and sometimes it even “flies” but despite all of our technological advancements, we still are helpless to cease its endless march forward. We can “kill time” but never can we create time.

Interesting, once you think about it enough, right?

So, what do you do to make the most of your time? It is valuable, right? Do you plan ahead when going out shopping so you can make the most of your time—and gasoline? Do you create a list when shopping for groceries, or are led by your stomach and spend time wandering aimlessly through the store?

Do you waste time on vacation, after flying halfway across the planet only to sit in the hotel room and watch television? Of course most of us do not, we're there to go and see the sites, and to shop. (Yes, Americans love to shop!)

At work, do you do related projects all at the same time, or just whenever you get around to them? Of course you are being paid by the owners to maximize your time and get as many of the duties done as possible.

Making the most of our time not only helps us create moments to enjoy, but it allows us to be more efficient and make the most of our precious time.
